Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We went opening day and it was really good for just being opened. We will definitely be going back. You can order online and get a text when your food is ready. It was all hot, fresh, and well packaged. The inside of the building is very clean."
"Food was delicious. Online ordering was easy and quick to be ready for pickup. To go containers are sturdy and great for holding left overs. Friend dumplings with chili sauce were flavorful and had a nice crunch considering being in a To go container. The cashew chicken has a nice blend of celery, carrots, water chestnuts, chicken, baby corn, and lots of cashews. We had it with for no mushrooms. Beef broccoli was a medley of carrots, broccoli, and beef in a beef sauce. A little salty but really yummy and my 3 year old ate it. Sesame chicken was covered in sauce and yet not soggy and had a few pieces of broccoli. Overall really enjoyed the flavors and dishes. Portions are the quintessential Chinese food you where you can have dinner and a full second portion for lunch leftovers or late night snack. Highly recommend."
"I stopped in on the way by and placed my to-go order in person. I was met with a pleasant greeting and a nice recommendation. I ordered the Dragon Phoenix dinner- General Tso's chicken, garlic sauced shrimp with vegetables. Though the dining area was empty, there was a steady stream of orders coming in and carryout dinners being picked up. My order was quickly made and ready to go. Wow. That single dinner will easily be 3-4 full meals. It was nicely packaged. The vegetables were absolutely fresh. The chicken and shrimp were perfect. My only mistake was that I should have asked for it to be made a little spicey. This was absolutely mild. No matter- I added crispy garlic oil at home and it was great. I'm looking forward to trying more..."
"Ordered online, which was easy enough, and I ordered based on reviews I read. The general tso dinner with egg roll and white rice- all of that was good. Portion size was plenty, enough for lunch tomorrow. No complaints. The "crabmeat Rangoon"- literally just cream cheese inside... still tasted fine, but they should be called fried cream cheese wontons. The hot and sour soup- thick and very warm, could have been a little spicier but pretty good. The crispy wonton strips to put in your soup tasted stale. The sweet and sour sauce was very thick and tasteless, but came in a large container, so if you like that then you'll be happy. Overall I'd order from here again to try a few more things. Very clean inside and seemed to be getting alot of orders."
"Went opening day so I’ll give them 4 stars instead of 3. Regardless, it’s great to have a local place with Asian food that’s quick and open 7 days a week. Wonton soup was bland and nothing special. Hot and sour soup was very good, best out of a half dozen places within 25 miles. But not a lot of people like it like I do. Sweet and sour chicken and shrimp I have no damn clue because they never gave us sweet and sour sauce with it! Me lo fun noodles weren’t very good. Shrimp and vegetables ok. Happy family ok, but not close to as good as the wadhams place. General Taos chicken was very good and above average. Egg roll, super small and average. Fried rice not bad but not very good. (Real fried rice isn’t yellow) Will try a whole bunch of different items next time to get a better idea if they have anything that really stands out. Very friendly people and very clean inside. Edit: Tried a few more things, egg drop soup nothing special, moo goo gai pan terrible and flavorless, Singapore lei mei fun excellent and probably the best thing I’ve had there."
"Ordered the chicken lo mein and it was delicious, Szechuan chicken was pretty good but not spicy at all. Crabmeat rangoons do not have crabmeat and it has the most tiny amount of filling I've ever seen!! They were really stale too. The eggroll was the worst I've ever had. So if we do order takeout again I think we will just stick to the entrees. Good portion sizes though! I shared the lo mein with my 2 toddlers and there was just enough."
"Ordered on the phone. Said it'd be ready in 10/15 minutes. Hot and ready upon arrival. Clean area inside for takeout. Don't expect a dim lit, sit down, waitress type of Chinese restaurant. This isn't that kind. We ordered an app and 2 meals. $40 Crab Ragoons Sweet & Sour Chicken Chicken Lo Mein The meals were combinations with egg roll and fried rice. The Sweet & Sour Chicken comes with a red sauce on the side. The Ragoons are very good. The rice gets mixed reviews in our family. Some like it, and some think it's very bad. Too grainy. Egg Rolls are good. Dinners were decent. No competition for 20/30 minute drive to Fort Gratiot or Sandusky, so it works. We've eaten there before, so we kind of knew what to expect. -4 Stars"
"I was hesitant to try this after reading some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the orange flavored chicken dinner with an egg roll and everything was above average for American Chinese food. Very clean and organized. The employee I spoke with was pleasant and helpful. Some of the pictures from other customers look really different than what I got so hopefully they are listening to feedback and trying to do better. Which I am fully in support of as I have hoped for a Chinese restaurant in this area for awhile."
